What is a luscious garage?
Nestled on a quiet side street in the heart of SOMA, Luscious Garage combines the convenience of a downtown location with the refuge of a clean, relaxing space. Our 
historic warehouse boasts an original brick frontage, a cozy mezzanine with gorgeous arched windows, and a clean and healthy workshop filled with natural light.
Location
LG is easy to access via road or sidewalk. Halfway between Market Street and Highway 101, we share a neighborhood with Yuba Buena Gardens, the Metreon Cineplex, and the SF MOMA. The Union Square shopping area is a short walk; the Powell Street BART/MUNI is two blocks away. (Map)
Special Features
Personal connection is hampered by a desk; instead we use a service kiosk to collect keys, discuss wishes, and air concerns. The workshop is open; you’re enouraged to 
look around (we even hang art). If you prefer to take a break, the mezzanine includes a comfy seating area, reading materials, wifi, a developmentally-appropriate play area, and a leafy view of the street.
Air quality is tightly managed for the healthiest possible work environment, for visitors as well as staff. A lesser evil, noise pollution is still unpleasant and rarely necessary. We bias towards electric tools and operate a high efficiency air compressor to keep shop noise (and energy consumption) to a minimum. (Visit the Green page for more information.)
