Carolyn Coquillette
Owner and Lead Technician
LG has been Carolyn’s dream since she started fixing cars. A recovering academic, she holds a BS in Physics and English from the University of Michigan, a Master ASE certification with L1 Advanced Engine Performance, and a pile of miscellaneous
credentials including Master Hybrid Technician from ACDC. She instructs on hybrid technology with an emphasis on plug-in hybrid (PHEV) applications. A constant study of trends in current and future technology, Carolyn’s own hybrid training is ongoing.
When not attending to the shop, Carolyn enjoys her canoe, her dog, and her subscription to the New Yorker. She is active in the San Francisco Electric Vehicle Association, the International Automobile Technicians’ Network (iATN), and CalCars. For her opinions and observations, check out LG’s blog. Michou Olivera
Hybrid Mechanic
MIchou owns three cars but takes the BART to work everyday. A bona fide gear head, she attests that her hobby of restoring and recycling classic cars is as green as it gets. To the shop Michou brings solid understanding of automotive
principles, a technical background in IT, and dedication to proficient and environmentally sensitive service practices. Besides her degree in Computer Science, Michou currently pursues an ASE Master Certification and has already completed the industry’s finest hybrid training.
After many, many years as a resident of San Francisco, Michou now lives in Oakland to enjoy a parking space, a fireplace, and her partner Makenna’s baking. When daydreaming her thoughts turn to rebuilding the engine of her 1967 Chevelle. For questions on this or other projects, email Michou@LusciousGarage.com
Tami Prochorchik
Creative Director
At the garage our lusciousness manifests in plants, art and attention to detail thanks entirely to Tami. Her vision draws from an academic background in Fine Arts, certification as a Master Gardener, a career as an Art Teacher and a Child Life
Specialist, and a lifelong appreciation of Planet Earth. Her current duties include curating art shows in the garage, coordinating events, and marketing. Tami also holds a board position with our local neighborhood association Clementina Cares.
On the weekends Tami gravitates towards Stinson Beach for waves and relaxation. Knitting, figure drawing, and stained glass are a few of her recent projects. She also collects rocks and depression glass chickens. For questions regarding art in the garage, poster designs, or anything else luscious, email Tami@LusciousGarage.com
