Vijay, Brilliant Author

I am a glutton for trade non-fiction, especially the kind that relates to cars or energy or the environment (or all of the above).  Well you could have knocked me over with a feather when Vijay Vaitheeswaran stopped by today to pick up a Calcars-converted PHEV for his SFBA book tour. 

His book ZOOM: The Global Race to Fuel the Car of the Future is a must-read. 

The movement: Oil is the problem.  Cars are the solution.

Javier Manrique - Art Opening 10/13

If Luscious Garage were a play, Javier Manrique would be in the cast: the thoughtful, sophisticated artist who graces the set with his artwork, his stories, and his general love of people.  We are truly fortunate to have him in our lives.

Javier is a teacher and an accomplished artist; his work has been shown internationally and critically acclaimed. What a pleasure it is to announce the opening of his show at Luscious Garage, our first.  The canvases are generous and compliment the unique space; having worked in their company I remain fascinated. “Among Women Only” is one of my favorites, pictured here.
